Self-drafted lion costume with crocheted tail and ears

Simplicity 3257 Column Skirt

Bergere de France Tunic 16 from Magazine #166 (the sleeves stretch with wear and the torso is too short, and boy those instructions got me bent out of shape!)

Bergere de France 3/4 Sleeve Sweater 08 from Magazine #166. Again the instructions drove me mad and I had to enlist the help of my mother (Knichet, for Ravelry users, whose skills I have not inherited) to create the collar.
Does anyone else have as much trouble with Bergere de France instructions? I find them a real stumbling block for (re)beginners like me.
Lady Libertine in one of the self-drafted capes I made for a Halloween burlesque show

OK, can't take credit. Knichet made this for me. I did cut my own fringe though, as you may be able to tell.
